ah, fall… the rain is here, the darkness comes earlier and lifts later, and the almost-constant grey cloud cover here in the northwest is keeping with the trend. i’m listening to music from the innocence mission and damien jurado and wondering what surprises the season will bring. writing is starting to come out a little more here and there. overall, the mood is darker, more tired and filled with longing…
Updating...i’m busy working on a new novel entitled cleansing, a story about identity, morality[and the lack thereof], and the quest for a life worth living. the narrative is first person, with each chapter written as a letter from the main character to another. tentatively, my plan is to release this work one chapter at a time on a subscription basis, with a new chapter being released every 1-2 weeks, although I haven’t worked out the entire schedule just yet.

NOTE: the book contains content matter not suited for children. if you’d like to be notified when the subscription period opens, leave a comment below and i’ll send you an email when it is ready. [i don't have an email list, so you're not going to be spammed with other crap... just a one-time email.] this is a project that will end up being published as either a paperback or hardbound edition as well, so there will be different subscription levels for those who want to buy the electronic edition only, or want to get a discounted rate on the printed edition when it comes out as well.
also, i’m going to try to kick-start the paintchip philosophy hour back into gear in the next week or two. it’s one of those projects i just kind of let fall by the wayside while i was busy working on starting my design business, but if all goes well i should be able to get back to it soon. stay tuned here for more details.
