in honor of the extreme winter weather here in portland and across the northwest, here’s a cool song/music video i found online tonight that i thought i’d share from a band out of washington called fleet foxes. great wintery song, and really pretty stop-motion animation. hope you enjoy it as much as i did! -h

i really enjoyed this new video created by clement picon for radiohead of their song reckoner. the animation here is fascinating, and of course i’m probably biased because they’re one of my all-time favorite bands, but the song is pretty damn cool as well. check it out. -h

here’s a great performance of last rites from one of my favorite singer/songwriters damien jurado in the back of a london cab, with his bandmate jenna conrad as part of the black cab sessions series. they’ll be in p-town on the 12th of this month at the doug fir lounge. don’t miss it. -h
